Uche Sparks Dominant Crystal Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite entering their first-ever European campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are learning at a rapid pace. Without star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another three points in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, especially following a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion provided a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.
A Shelbourne side that had concluded their league season were no match against a mostly rotated Palace lineup. The visitors were further depleted by the news that Mateta and Muñoz are sidelined with knee problems.

The home side were hanging on desperately. Defender Kameron Ledwidge was lucky to avoid a booking for a couple of robust tackles on Yeremy Pino, before Chris Richards rattled the crossbar with a header from a corner.
Pino Wraps Up the Contest
The contest was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some weak challenges before coolly dispatching a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then blazed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
