Iran is ready to reinitiate nuclear discussions with the United States provided that it is approached with "respect" and "respect", Iran's top diplomat has stated.

Abbas Araghchi declared solely negotiations worked, and shared recent overtures had come from intermediaries to resume discussions with the US government. Earlier Talks Suddenly Ended

The earlier sessions of talks between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and acrimonious end on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, attacked Iran's enrichment centers in a 12-day war that ended with the American leader declaring the sites had been destroyed. Following this, EU nations used their privilege to reimpose international penalties, but Iran insists they have not had a substantial consequence.

Magic Solution Offered

Iran's diplomats said they felt they had reached a "perfect agreement" to the enrichment issue in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the talks that Washington's technical specialists could function inside Iran, but that was a natural consequence of the partnership suggestion. Representatives claimed on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to disintegrate due to "opponents in the US".

Existing Situation

Iran's diplomats declared the consortium offer was now withdrawn, but it seems quite possible the proposal could be resurrected in certain ways if discussions restart.

The American leader in recent days said he had been obtaining communications that Iran desired to resume discussions, but confidentially Tehran representatives say they are not yet receiving coherent offers from the United States either directly or from significant local go-betweens, such as the Qatari government, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. He asserted the strikes began with a US demand for an unconditional Iranian surrender and ended with an complete request for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were mounted with full US knowledge and cooperation, making faith challenging to reestablish.

Dialogue Remains the Ultimate Answer

The foreign minister stated: "It was not Iran that had fled negotiations; it was America and the Western nations that had always attempted to impose their will during the discussions. Dialogue can still be alive and remains the ultimate answer to address disputes, but its standards, regulations and fundamentals must be respected."

"Provided that they talk to the Iranian people with the language of dignity and honor, they will obtain a answer in the same tone."

Repair and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Tehran representatives as the conflict of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was assured Iran's security strengths "have significantly improved than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been rebuilt. We acquired numerous insights from this engagement; we have come to know our own weaknesses and the vulnerabilities of the adversary."

He added: "We effectively endured this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they aimed to eliminate, continues to exist.
